Friday, July 27, Sigourney to Iowa City, 57.6 miles, 1,413 Feet of Climb
Today is a relatively short ride at 58 miles and relatively flat at 1,413' of climb. We are glad to have a shorter day today so we can save our energy for the last day (tomorrow) which is the longest ride of the week and is especially difficult as we have to arrive in time to catch the 3 pm bus back to Omaha. So today we rest, tomorrow we start early and cycle hard. Here are some highlights of today's ride.

This is our last night in camp. Tomorrow is our longest day (75+ miles) and we need to arrive by 2:00 pm to catch the 3 pm bus back to Omaha. So we have planned an early start, ie on the road by 6am with a brisk ride into Davenport in time to take some quick pics and get on the bus. It's been a great week in the corn! We are looking forward to tomorrow!
